Error: Code Redemption Limit Has Been Reached

When opening your DAW, you may be prompted to enter your activation code for a Steven Slate Drums product, and when doing so, will receive the following error message: The code redemption limit has been reached. Please enter a different code.

If your iLok license has been correctly installed on iLok License Manager, you shouldn't be prompted to enter this code again. The activation code that you first received in your email activates the license to the iLok account, and is meant to be entered once.

If you are receiving this prompt, double-check in iLok License Manager that your product is successfully activated to a valid location.

Please note that redeeming an activation code only gives you the license in initial state. You still need to manually deposit the license to a location. You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Open iLok License Manager. Log in to your iLok User Account.

  2. Select your iLok (Underneath "local").

  3. Highlight your product, and click activate (checkmark Icon in upper right corner).

NOTE: Trigger 2 cannot be deposited directly to a computer, only a physical iLok 2 or 3.

If you have successfully deposited your license to a valid location and still receive this prompt, run through the following checklist.

      1. If using a physical iLok, make sure it is inserted in your computer BEFORE starting your DAW.

      2. Synchronize Your iLok: Before starting your DAW, open the iLok License Manager and make sure it is up-to-date. Next, right click on your iLok dongle, listed in the left column, and choose Synchronize. Wait for the operation to complete, and then launch your DAW.

      3. Make sure that your iLok dongle has been properly inserted into your computer. Make sure it lights up, and that it shows up in your iLok License Manager under "local".
